At any given time, about 100,000 people in the United States are waiting for a replacement kidney. But healthy donated kidneys are difficult to get. Either a living person must donate one, or a kidney must be removed from someone who just died and earlier had agreed to the donation. In either case, people receiving new kidneys face the r isk that their bodies will reject the donated ones.

But there may be another option. Researchers use knowledge of living things to grow or improve tissue that can aid human health. Harald Ott's team at Harvard started with a "used" kidney.

Scientists added kidney cells from rats and blood vessel cells from people to the matrix（母體）. These cells attached themselves and began to multiply. Before long, they formed new kidney tissue.

The scientists placed this renewed kidney into another rat. There it produced a small amount of urine. This experiment shows that the lab-grown kidney can do at least some of the work performed by a healthy kidney.

The results are a promising first step toward helping people with serious kidney problems. "This is still very early, but they've come a long way," Ross said.

Almost all of us heard the story "Here Comes the Wolf" when we are little kids. What we can learn from the story is we must be honest. Therefore, there're lots of case of dishonesty nowadays.

Being honest does great harm to other people or to yourself. Take the case of fake milk powder for an example. After drink this kind of milk, the babies had big heads while their legs and arms were still thin, what badly affected their health. I am travelling back with my parents from seeing my grandparents then it started to snow. At first, I thought it was fun and everything looked beautifully. I was looking forward to make a snowman in the playground at school the next day, and suddenly the car drove off road and into a channel. My father called the rescue team, but they said that would be a long time before they could reach us. However, we sang songs and told stories to pass the time. Living in the city, people have certain widely acknowledging advantages. They enjoy various entertainments. Besides, there are many culture activities. Last weekend, my classmate and I went on a camping trip near the river. It was not long distance, so we chose to get here by bike.

What is the most valuable thing in the world? Although the answer many vary from person to person, but as for me, reading books is most valuable than anything else. As old saying goes, “To open a book is always helpful. ”
