Mr. Smith lived by the sea. He had a habit of walking on the beach in his spare time.

One day, 1. he saw someone moving like a dancer in the distance. He smiled and began to walk faster to catch up. As he got closer, he saw that it was a young man. 2. He was picking something up from the sand and very gently throwing it into the sea.

Mr. Smith called out, “ Good morning! 3. ”

“Why are you doing that?”
