Today is Saturday.We didn't go to school.My friends，Xiaowang，Xiaoming，and other two boys，asked me to go swimming.But an accident happened there.

We got to the river near my home.They began swimming in it，but I was afraid to swim.So I sat under a big tree and watched a little girl playing with a ball by the river.But the ball fell into the water and soon she fell into the water，too.

I stood up and began shouting，“Help！Help！A girl has fallen into the water…” But my friends were a little far from me and they couldn't hear.So I jumped into the river.I didn't swim well.I knew I was not good at swimming.But the poor girl…I must save her！At last I took the girl out of the river.Her parents were so thankful that they kept saying，“Thank you very much.”
