科目:初中英語(yǔ) 來(lái)源:江蘇省期末題 題型:閱讀理解

閱讀下列短文,然后在每小題的A、B、C、D四個(gè)選項(xiàng)中選出最佳選項(xiàng)。
The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games are drawing near. Are you looking forward to watching the matches? If
so, here are some suggestions you need to know about audience manners.
Most sporting arenas (賽場(chǎng)) have rules for audience which are written on the back of the tickets. Read
your ticket carefully before you arrive. Try to reach your seat half an hour before the start of the event and don't
walk about when a game is being held. When you leave, remember to take away your soft drink bottles and other
rubbish.
During exciting games, try to control yourself. Don't criticize (批評(píng)) the performance of players and
coaches. Be careful with your words, since some may cause anger among other people in the audience.
Applause is a special form of body language you can use to communicate (交流) with players. But you
should do it properly. When players first appear, clap your hands together to welcome them; don't go on for
too long. After an excellent performance, applaud (鼓掌) warmly.
Applause is not welcome, however, while a game is being held and the players need to focus all their
attention. Different sports have different rules for the audience. Enjoying artistic gymnastics (藝術(shù)體操) requires
silence. But lots of cheering can really help basketball and football players. Using flash (閃光燈) to take photos is
quite disturbing to tennis players. Mobile phones can not be used in shooting centers.
To be a good spectator (觀眾), you should take time to learn the game — related rules and audience
manners of each event.
1. According to the writer, it's good manners to __________.
[     ]
A. applaud for the excellent performance of players properly
B. complain about the bad performance of players from time to time
C. arrive at the sporting arenas just before the start of the event
D. walk here and there when a game is being held
2. According to the passage, in which of the following events CAN'T we use flash to take photos?
[     ]
A. Artistic gymnastics.
B. Basketball.
C. Football.
D. Tennis.
3. What is the best title of this passage?
[     ]
A. How to Applaud for Players.
B. How to Be a Good Spectator.
C. How to Remember Audience Manners.
D. How to Communicate with Players.
