Now it is up to us to make a change and begin taking care of it. I believe that every person can make a difference. You may be the one person our world needs right now. Do not worry about going it alone because as you begin, you will soon find that there are many others alongside you. They are stopping to pick up rubbish (垃圾) along the streets. They are putting bottles and tins (罐子) into recycle trash bins (回收垃圾箱). One sunny afternoon, I found a small purple flower on the ground and I thought how lifeless it looked, all alone in the dirt. Then I moved up my head and saw that the field ( 田 野 ) beside the road was covered with purple flowers, just like the one in my hand. Alone they were tiny (微小的), but together they became a big filed of color that made me breathless (令人屏息的). That little purple flower gave me courage ( 勇 氣 ).
