What’s it like for a child to go to school in the UK?

In my school, we start the day at 8:45 am with a 20-minute lesson called tutor class (輔導(dǎo)課). In tutor class, every classroom has about 20 students from all grades with one teacher.

We can take a world quiz (測(cè)試) or have fun learning about world history. The quiz is interesting. I learned that Shakespeare spelled his name in several different ways. Sometimes, we watch the news to know the important events (事件) of the day.

Today, roller skating is easy and fun. But before 1750, no one has the idea of skating. That changed because of a man named Joseph Merlin. Merlin's work was making musical instruments.

One day Merlin received an invitation to attend a music party. He was very pleased and a little excited. As the day of the party came near, Merlin began to think how to make a grand entrance(入場(chǎng)) at the party. He had an idea.
